Kuri discussion

Kuri
Many years ago when the Māori’s lived in New Zealand. They had dogs to keep them comfort throughout these days
of surviving.
They loved them but when their owners were starving they would eat them to survive till they found food.
One day an kuri came back wet with fish in it’s mouth and that’s when their owners knew that there was an river or a
lake nearby.

There are many places that the kuri came from, they usually came from east asia and they have travelled
from island to island.
Such as Samoa, Tonga, Fiji, Hawaii, Tahiti, Rapanui and Cook Islands to New Zealand.
But they just stayed there at New Zealand to look after their owners and to give them comfort.
