Critically Analysing Images

Critically Analysing Images
WALT: Critically Analyze Images.

Today in class today Miss Aireen gave us some questions and three images, we had to write about it and also we are going to critically think about it the answers that we are going to write. The image that I picked contains a boy that is jumped from one figure to another. And here are my questions too.

I also answered these question personally because I felt like I wanted to as well, and I also liked this image too.

Who took the photo? I think the person who took the photo was a someone who was exploring the country.

How is the subject represented in the photo? A boy who looks like he is having a lot of fun and playing with joy.

What kinds of messages are being conveyed? A boy who is playing, What it looks like in there country, and what they do in there country.

How do different parts of the image contribute to these messages? The materials that the boy is jumping on is like a Playground for the boy and background represents what they live in and the way that they live.

What if the photo was taken from a different angle or cropped differently? If you cropped out the background and it only had the boy you could add a playground and it could look like a boy playing on the playground, because he looks so happy.

Who might the intended audience be? The intended audience would be the boy playing in his country. And also having a lot of fun as well, but also boy might not be having fun too.

How might different groups of people respond to the image? They might say something different to us but also they might say the same thing as us as well, so I think that it would be the same thing too.
